Two years ago, I was preparing for my wedding. Flowers, cake, dress – the whole shebang was already organised. The one thing I was really stuck on was choosing the poem for the readings. As someone who loves poetry, I thought this would be an easy task – surely there would be a poem out there that would encapsulate our relationship? There wasn’t. Which got me thinking – why isn’t there a service for this?
And so, PoetryGram was born.
I want to help you express your story through poetry – whether it’s to read at a wedding, as a present for an anniversary or just to tell someone special how you feel.
How does the service work?
We’ll have a short conversation where you’ll tell me what you want to say. I’ll put it into words and give you the chance to make your own edits. When you’re happy, I’ll send you the finished version so you can present it whichever way you want. Although the poem will be written by me, it’s your thoughts, your feelings, your memories that will be laid down in verse.
