Wild Atlantic Way

Apparently the ‘longest coastal road in the world’, Ireland’s Atlantic Way is a real joy. Well-signposted with beautiful scenery, cosy pubs and ancient ruins providing more than enough reason to take it slow.

These photos don’t really do it justice (they’re from Cork to Sligo. Donegal has its own separate post!)

I'm a poet based in Bristol via Derry, St Andrews and Madrid. When I'm not writing or performing my own poetry, I'm reading or trotting about with my camera. There is sometimes drink taken.
